We are looking for a (physician) researcher with an interest in children with Angelman syndrome for a clinical PhD research. We are thinking of someone who has the ambition to become a pediatrician, pediatric neurologist, clinical geneticist or VG physician, but are open to candidates with a different background or ambition.<\/p>\n

You will work in an enthusiastic multidisciplinary team of the ENCORE Center of Expertise Angelman Syndrome in the Erasmus MC Sophia Children's Hospital in Rotterdam.<\/p>\n

The research includes a study in the Children's Brain Lab on growth and motor skills and the establishment of a European network for AS. For the latter project, you will be the driving force in setting up a clinical network with monthly clinic and research meetings, a synchronized database, writing a European guideline and genotype-phenotype studies in a large European cohort. Participation in the monthly AS clinics is also part of the work.<\/p>\n

Good communication skills and command of Dutch and English are among the requirements, also because the research project includes international activities.<\/p>\n

You can start in the short term for a period of 4 years with a salary in accordance with the collective labor agreement.<\/p>\n
