Kick-off for SYNGAP1 study in adults!
In September 2024, the study 'The multidimensional assessment of SYNGAP1 outcomes in adults' in the Netherlands and Belgium kicked-off!
This study has been running in Canada for some time now through our co-researcher Dr. Andrade, and we recently received approval for the Dutch part.
Little is known about the course of SYNGAP1 syndrome in adulthood. With this study we try to better understand how epilepsy develops in adulthood. In addition, we want to know more about communication, general functioning and medical problems during the life course.
