On the night of 29 June, PhD candidate Kamil Hiralal was a guest in the program “De Nacht van NTR” on Radio 1.

“De Nacht van NTR” is a radio show where scientists are invited to talk about their research. In his talk, Kamil talked about UNIQUE, our research on autism spectrum disorders with a rare genetic basis. Within UNIEK we investigate how rare changes in DNA influence the observable characteristics of autism spectrum disorders. In addition, Kamil talked about how he wants to map the public conversation about the role of genetics in autism spectrum disorders using social media.
